U16 Girls League
Peake Villa’s U16 girls take pride of place this weekend when they were crowned League champions after Cashel and Kilenaule played out a score draw which means the girls cannot be caught at the summit of the table. This is Peake villa’s first season in Girls Soccer and it is a great achievement by the Girls and their coaches. All at the club would like congratulate the girls and their coaches on this historic achievement.

Saturday 8th March

League U14 Boys St. Michaels 2 - 3 Peake Villa

The 14’s had a good win down in TippTown to keep in touch in the League, scorers for Villa were Ronan McGuire, Frank McKevitt and Connor Ryan.

Girls u10 at home Kilbehenny - game ended in draw

The Girls played out a draw in a highly entertaining game against Kilbeheny. Missy Condon, Emma Kelly and Jessica Delaney got the goals for Villa, the 3 of them played very well and Katie Gleeson was again very good in goal and Niamh Shanahan was a rock in defence

Youths Bansha Celtic 2 - 3 Peake Villa

Villa finished off their league campaign Saturday with a hard fought and very good win away to Bansha. Villa needed the win to keep the pressure on Clonmel who now have to travel to Bansha in their last game to force a playoff to decide who wins the league. Anything but a win for Clonmel would see Villa be crowned champions. Matthew Fogarty scored first after 10 minutes with a shot from outside the box. Bansha equalized on 15 minutes. Adam Garrett lobbed the keeper after a great through ball from jack derby on 35 minutes. Bansha equalized on 40 minutes. Dale Loughnane scored the winner with 15 minutes to go with a great finish after some heavy Villa pressure.

Sunday 23rd February

The Girls were unlucky to loose against Cashel in a very close game up at Villa. Maire Creedon scored Villa’s goal and what a great goal it was. Villa had chances near the end but could not get the equalizer.

The U10’s had 2 Teams in action and they got on very well.

Team A travelled to St. Kevins and had a good win. The scorers were Ciaran Woodlock, Scott Brennan and Robbie Stapleton.

Team C were at home to St. Kevins C and played out an exciting draw with Eoin Stakelum, Sia Ndzinga and Cian Cleary scoring the Goals.
