Villa travelled to Cashel on Saturday and started the game very well. On 5 minutes Jamie O'Meara gave a great pass to Pierce Ivors whose shot went narrowly wide. A few minutes later Villa went 1 up when Tom Daley found James McBrearty, who made no mistake finishing the ball into the net. Cashel made it 1-1 on 20 minutes. Villa had a penalty awarded just before half time, but Kyle O'Donnell shot just wide. 1-1 half time.
Villa came out in the 2nd half attacking more and with a great run down the right from Jack Bowe who gave a great pass to Pierce Ivors who made it 2-1. On 15 mins Conor Carroll who covered the whole pitch today found Gabriel Hueng who made it 3-1. Villa had all the play from then on and after some great passing from Jack, Tom and John on 26 minutes Corey Kennedy made it 4-1. Just before the end Aaron Cummins was unlucky when his shot was saved. A good team performance with a man of the match performance from Conor Carroll.
