TSDL Fixtures Sunday 20th March

TSDL Premier League - Bansha Celtic 0-6 Peake Villa Junior A

Matthew McKevitt (3), Pippy Carroll (2) Ronan McGuire (1)

Our Junior A team travelled to Bansha Sunday for a midday kick off. Villa who are in good form at the moment started well and from the off it was all the visitors with the home side not helped with some injuries in their camp. Saying that Villa had a job to do and went about doing it. Matthew McKevitt put Villa ahead in the 5th minute when his cousin Frank Mckevitt put him through and Matt made no mistake. Villa went two up on 27 minutes when Frank Mckevitt with another assist put Pippy Carroll through and he slotted home. The visitors were in control throughout the half and Pippy scored again In the 37th minute when Ronan McGuire played him in. Half time 0-3.

Pippy turned provider in the 55th minute when he returned the favour to McGuire and Ronan made no mistake 0-4. Frank Mckevitt was having a fine game and he again turned provider putting Matthew McKevitt I again who got his second of the day 0-5. Matthew secured his hatrick a couple of minutes later when Captain Pippy Carroll put him through and Matt made no mistake to make it 0-6. Best on the day was Matthew and Frank Mckevitt and Captain Pippy Carroll.
 
It's Derby day Sunday next as the boy's take on local side Two Mile Borris FC at home In the League.
