Youths Division 1 League
Peake Villa Youths 0 - 1 Galbally United
Villa youths entertained Galbally Saturday afternoon up at the Tower Grounds. There was a strong breeze that made it impossible for both sides to play their normal passing game. Villa went close on two occasions in the first 10 minutes and it was during their second attempt at goal that Galbally broke with speed and got behind the Villa back 4 and scored a well taken goal to make it 0-1 to the visitors. The rest of the half saw Villa trying to get back into the game but the Galbally defence held strong and kept Villa out. Half time 0-1.
The second half with Villa playing against the wind and needing a goal was more open with the best chances falling to the visitors. Josh Coady was called upon on a few occasions to keep Villa in the hunt. Villa did throw caution to the wind in the last half hour and injury time looking for an equaliser but it never came and the visitors took the spoils. Full Time 0-1.

Cashel were the visitors to the Tower Grounds Sunday morning in what was a nice sunny morning with a stiff breeze.

Young Keelan Graham also came on making his A team debut and who is having a fine season with the Junior B team.
