Peake Villa Youths 3 - 1 Two Mile Borris, scorers for Villa, Colm Jimmy Pearson, Anthony Walker, and Micheal Foley.

Peake Villa piled on the pressure from the word go and had numerous scoring chances that went a begging. It was Two Mile Borris who scored the first goal when from the right wing a speculative shot sailed over the Villa's stand in goalkeeper Maris Baltins, who was standing in for the injured Andjes. Just before halftime Villa finally got the rewards for their efforts when from a Keith Cahill corner Colm Pearson scored with a header. HT 1-1.

In the second half Villa upped the tempo and were rewarded when Anthony Walker got on the end of a Mikey Wade cross from the right and blasted past the Borris keeper. 10 minutes later Villa scored their third, when Michael Foley scored with a looping header over the Borris keeper from a well placed cross by Dale Loughnane.
