u15 Boys Peake Villa 1 - 1 Clerihan , Kevin Bracken (1)
The u15 boys had to turn out without five of the first team that were involved in GAA finals today, so our thanks to the u14 lads that came up and helped out. Peake Villa went ahead with a well taken goal early in the first half by Kevin Bracken. Both teams had their chances to score and Villa were made to pay for not finishing their chances when Clerihan pounced on a slack back pass to score with 15 minutes to go. Man of the match was Fred Crowley who gave a defensive exhibition.
Sunday 14th September
Youths Cahir Park 0 - 3 Peake Villa (Jack Hackett, Mikey Wade and Keith Cahill)
The Youths are going very well and have made it 3 wins out of 3 with a good team performance away to Cahir. Scorers on the day were Jack Hackett, Mikey Wade and a screamer from Keith Cahill.
Junior A Peake Villa 1 - 4 St. Michael's (Eoin O'Dwyer)
This was always going to be a tough task which wasn’t made any easier with some key players missing. Michaels were in control throughout and gave a master class in talking off the ball and letting their team mates know when they had time and when to release the ball. Villa’s scorer on the day was Eoin O’Dwyer.
Junior B Cullen-Lattin 4 - 1 Peake Villa (Tom Rykala)
The B’s travelled to Lattin but had it all to do and came out on the wrong end of the score line. Scorer for Villa was Tomasz Rykala.
