U11B Boys League Clonmel hosted Peake Villa B
Our U11B boys travelled to Clonmel Town Saturday and were narrowly beaten. This was a very entertaing match with Clonmel having the advatage in the first half and Villa in the second half.
U13 Boys League Peake Villa 2 - 5 St. Kevin's
Our 13’s entertained local rivals St. Kevins and the score line did not reflect the game. The Boys started poor and found themselves 2-0 down after 8 minutes. They woke up after this and had good spells of possession, they nearly got one back when Jack Kelly hit the post. A minute later they got a deserved goal when Cian Stakelum crossed for Eoin Purcell to blast his header to the net. The 2nd half saw Villa start the brighter and were on level terms 5 minutes in when Purcell again found the net when his overhead kick found the top corner. Purcell got in again only for his goal to be ruled offside. Villa were the better team for most of the 2nd half and had some good chances but got caught on the break three times in 8 minutes to leave their supporters scratching their heads. The boys gave it everything and could not be faulted for their effort.
U15 Boys League Clonmel Celtic 6 - 2 Peake Villa
The 15’s travelled to Clonmel and were missing some regulars and it showed on the day, scorers for Villa on the day we’re Tommy Mc Guire and Christian Cleary.
Tipperary Youth Cup 1st Round Peake Villa Youths 3 - 1 Cahir Park
The youths entertained Cahir again this week in the Cup and had a comfortable win. Adam Garrett opened the scoring before Sean Butler added a 2nd for the home team. Villa were comfortable in the 2nd half as well and Faolan Lennane finished off the scoring for Villa, Cahir got a goal back with 2 minutes to go.

U14 Girls League at home to Burncourt Celtic WALK OVER
Munster Junior Cup 2nd Round Junior A Peake Villa 3 - 1 Slieveardagh
Peter O Reilly Cup 1st Round Junior B Ballyneale 3 - 1 Peake Villa
The B’s lost 3-1 away to Ballyneale today in Peter O' Reilly cup. They were dominant the whole game even in second half when they were down to 10 men. In the 20th minute they should have had a penalty when Stevie Fewer was caught from behind before having a shot inside the box. This was the first of many strange decisions from the ref on the day. The boys created more chances but the home team scored a fluky goal just before the break to go 1-0 ahead. 5 minutes into the second half another crazy decision by the referee ended up in one of our players getting a red card and a penalty to the home side, Ballyneale didn't even know why it was given but slotted home the penalty to make it 2-0. The boys threw everything up front and were caught on the break to concede a third goal. After that the boys showed great spirit. Mattie Stakelum's lovely shot was well saved by keeper. In the 75th minute Tomasz Rykala scored to make it 3-1 after good work from Colm Breen. Colm himself was very close to scoring soon after, Eugene Davy and Mattie we’re a constant threat. The boys we’re unlucky from a few free kicks that came close. Better team lost and it was mostly down to the ref having very bad day.
