Saturday 30th November
U11A Boys were at home to Clonmel Celtic, this was a great game between two evenly matched teams. The standard of soccer on display was a credit to both sets of coaches. Peake Villa were the winners of this very close and exciting game.
U11B Boys away to Bansha Celtic, this game was played on grass and as this was the first game Peake Villa B's played on grass they found the grass difficult to play on compared to Astro Turf. Both sides had their chances with Bansha winning this one.

U10 Girls League at home to Cashel Town
We had two U10 girls team's in action with 1 drawing and the other narrowly losing. Well done Girl's.
U14 Girls League away to Tipperary Town 0 - 2 Peake Villa
Peake Villa were short a number of players though injury and a school trip to UL, so we had only eight of the regular squad available. The two O'Meara girls were called up from u12 to help fulfill the fixture and Zoe O'Meara turned in a Man of Match performance in her right back defensive position. This was always going to be a tight game and the difference between the two was Villa's ability to hit the target when the chances came their way. The first was in the middle of the 1st half when Lauren McCormack scored with a rasper from outside the box into the top right hand corner of the net. The second came after great work by Saoirse O'Meara on the right wing and her cross was met inside the box by an onrushing Lauren for her second goal of the game.
The Tipperary defence was very busy during the match and when they did get the ball into Villa's box their finishing let them down. A number of good chances were hit wide when a goal would have rewarded the Tipperary team for their efforts. Villa continued to put on the pressure and were rewarded with a free kick just outside the box which was well taken by Lauren and equally well saved by the Tipperary centre back with a great defensive header. Final Score Tipperary Town 0 - 2 Peake Villa.
