Our 12’s travelled to Tipperary Town and put in a fine 1st half performance to secure all three points. They went ahead after just 30 seconds when Paddy Creedon scored from the edge of the box. Jack Kelly got Villa’s second in the 4th minute and he scored again in the 7th minute and secured his Hatrick in the 14th minute. Michaels got one back shortly after to make it 4-1 before Oisin O Brien scored and the Henry Fogarty scored to make it 6-1 at the break. To Michaels credit they worked hard in the 2nd half and could have added another couple but Villa also wasted good opportunity’s also before Adam Daly scored Villa’s 7th to make it 7-1 to Villa.
U14 Boys League at home Peake Villa 1 - 1 Clonmel Town A
Our 14’s finally got their league campaign started Saturday where they entertained Clonmel Town. This was never going to be an easy game to start the league but the boys should have secured all three points. The boys started slow but went ahead in the 10th minute when Ronan McGuire headed to the net. The second half was a close affair with both sides having chance but Villa had the best of them but we’re paid for missing those chances with 3 minutes to go when Clonmel got an equaliser to take a share of the spoils.
U16 Boys League away Clonmel Town 2 - 1 Peake Villa
The Villa lads were well prepared for this game and were intent on giving Clonmel Town a good game of it to maintain their top of the u16 league status. Clonmel Town had the early chances but poor finishing let them down. After 10 minutes Villa had settled into the game and was giving as good as the got from the Clonmel Town lads. Both sides played some lovely possession and passing football. On 20 minutes Matthew McKevitt played a lovely one two with Colm Jimmy Pearson for Jimmy to slot the ball home into the back of the Clonmel Town net. Clonmel Town increased the tempo to get the equaliser and just before half time were quick to pounce when the Villa defence failed to clear a bouncing ball and scored from inside the 6 yard box. Half time Clonmel Town 1 – 1 Peake Villa.
In the second half Villa had to fight a rear guard action to keep the Clonmel Town lads out, this they did with every player giving their all. Villa were unlucky not to score when an Aaron Cullen free kick from the left side was met cleanly in the air by Matthew McKevitt, only for his header to blaze the wrong side of the left hand post. Clonmel Town were awarded a free kick just outside the box and from a well worked move, they scored to make it 2-1. Villa had 10 minutes to get an equaliser and try they did. The lads came close when a Jack Hackett through ball was met on the run by Connor Murphy to score, only to have it disallowed for offside. Villa were awarded a free kick 30 yards out from goal which was well taken by Jimmy, but the Clonmel Town keeper made an under the bar save. Well done to the lads and well played to Clonmel Town. This league is now wide open with a three way tie at the top between Villa, Clonmel Town and St. Michael's.
Youths League away Cashel Town 1 - 7 Peake Villa
Villa Youths secured another good win away from home to put them further ahead at the top of the Youths Premier league. Adam Garrett put villa 1 up after 10 minutes with a through ball from Dale Loughnane. Dale then turned goal scorer when he made a darting run into the box and finished well to make it 2-0 at half time. Villa started sloppy in the second half and after a mix up at the back Cashel made it 2 -1 in the 60th minute.Villa immediately bounced back and Adam Garrett scored twice within 5 minutes when a great ball from Mark Lennon set up the first and the other was a great individual effort. This completed his hat trick and put villa 4-1 up. Gary Dunne came on and scored twice in the 70th and 75th minute with a great header and a super volley into the top corner. Aaron Ryan finished off Villa’s scoring with a great individual effort beating his man and finishing well.

Villa started strong and had two very good chances to score when Dale Loughnane's shot from long range was saved by the Tipp keeper and the other chance fell to Stevie Fewer who came close with header from a corner. Villa went close to finding the net again when a great pass from Cillian Cooke found Tomasz Grodzki who missed the chance after great first touch. Stevie Ryan made a great save in the 40th minute and was immense in the goal the whole game. Villa had most of the possession in the second half but couldn't create a clear chance to score until the 85th minute when man of the match youth player Dale Loughnane set up Tomasz Rykala who scored from close range.
