Tipperary Youth Cup QFinal away Moyglass 1 - 4 Peake Villa

Our Youths travelled to Moyglass for this ¼ final tie and came out well on top to keep their hopes of retaining the Tipp Cup on course. Scorers for Villa on the day were, Sean Butler, Mattie Stakelum, Damien Walczak and Anthony Walker.

Tipperary Cup 2nd Round Junior A away St. Michaels 3 - 1 Peake Villa

Our 1st team travelled to Cooke Park last Saturday for their 2nd round tie in what was always going to be a difficult assignment. Villa the current cup holders started well and found themselves 1-0 up after 15 minutes when Jamie Morrisey found the net. The lead was short lived and Michaels equalised after 25 minutes from the penalty spot. The home team scored again just before the break to make it 2-1. Villa with some regulars missing and with some youth team players playing who did not look out of place tried to get back into the game but it was St. Michaels who got the 3rd and closed out the game and won 3-1. Best of luck to Michael’s in the rest of the competition.
