Saturday 4th January
Boys U11A at home to Cahir Park
Both sets of players were soccer rusty after the Christmas break and both teams were missing a few players who were away for a few days, it was an entertaining game of football, with Peake Villa the winners.
Boys U11B away to Cahir Park B
The B team was also missing a few players but dispite this gave their all against a stronger Cahir side.
Youths away to St. Michael's 0 - 4 Peake Villa
Villa stay on the top of the Youths league after a great performance in Tipperary Town on Saturday. Adam Garrett opened the scoring after 15 minutes after a through ball from Jack Derby found Adam in the box who had to beat three defenders before finishing to the top corner. Adam got his second of the day when he beat a defender inside the box and finished well on 30 minutes. Villa went 3-0 up on 60 minutes when some great play from Maris Baltins and Mattie Stakelum set up yet another Hat Trick for Adam Garrett. Keith Cahill was put through on 70 minutes and he calmly waited for the Michaels keeper to come out before brilliantly chipping the ball over the keeper into the net. It was a great performance and a great result for the lads.
