Premier Division League Galbally Utd 0 - 7 Peake Villa
Villa got 3 valuble points after last week's disappointment. Villa couldn't break down a determined Galbally side in the 1st half and with a few chances missed went in at the break 0-0. Villa started the 2nd half much more focused and when Kevin Croke was taken down for a penalty which Pippy Carroll put away the fitness just took over. Kevin Croke got the 2nd from a corner. Dale Lougnane made it 3-0. Jamie Maher then made it 4-0 from a Dale Lougnane pass. Dale then got 2 goals in quick succession from Mikey Wade passes. Pippy finished the game with his 2nd of the day. Villa look forward to the 4th round of the FAI game with confidence after a terrific 2nd half display.
Division Three League Peake Villa B 0 - 2 Tipperary Town B
Our B team hosted Tipperary Town in a top of the table clash at the Tower grounds on Sunday afternoon. Tipperary Town took the lead in the 18th minute through Colin Hayes with a header at the back post following a corner. Villa pushed hard for the rest of the half but were finding chances hard to come by. The second half was more of the same Villa just couldn't break down a very good Tipperary defence. Tipperary's second goal came with Villa pushing forward and getting caught on the break. Colin Hayes finishing a good move.
The game finished 2-0 to Tipperary Town. The boy's were disappointed to lose but still have a two point lead at the top of the table.
Youths League Two Mile Borris 2 - 4 Peake Villa
After a horrible start to the season our Youths travelled to local rivals Borris looking for back to back win's in the league and they done just that with on fire Ronan McGuire getting a second Hatrick in a week. James Dillon got the other for Villa. They go into next week's Cup tie away to Clonmel Town in good form.
U12 Girls Premier League Peake Villa 2 - 1 Tipperary Town
A good win for the girls who are in good form at the moment picking up an important 3 points. They played some good passing football and were on top for most of the game and only for some poor finishing and some excellent goal keeping would have been well ahead at the break. They went in at the break 1-0 up when some great link up play between Missy Condon and Emma Kelly seen Missy score. Villa went 2-0 up with 6 minutes to go when Chloe Byrne's cross deceived the Tipperary Keeper and found the corner of the net. Tipp Town got one back just before the end to make it 2-1.
