FAI Junior Cup 4th Round Peake Villa 8 - 0 Cullen Lattin
Villa made a fast start and were ahead after 5 minutes when Matthew Mckevitt laid on a goal for Pippy Carroll. Matthew made it 2-0 after 10 minutes. Dale Lougnane then scored the 3rd after another Matthew Mckevitt pass in the 20th minute. Pippy and Matthew then got a goal each before half time to finish the game as a contest and go in at the break 5-0 up. It was exhibition football in the second half for Villa. They went 6-0 up in the 75th minute with a great turn in midfield by Carroll put Mckevitt through who then crossed to Lougnane who scored. Mckevitt made it 7 in the 83rd minute with a great bit of skill when he seen the goalie off his line and chipped him from all of 40 yards to complete his Hatrick. Carroll would not be outdone and was after a Hatrick of his own and he completed it with a great finish in the 87th minute with a great lob over the Keeper to make it 8-0. A great performance from all the team and the win see's them into the last 64 where they will travel to Cork in a fortnight for the next round.
Peter O Reilly Cup Peake Villa B 15 - 0 Bansha Celtic B
Peake Villa B were at home on Sunday to Bansha Celtic in the Peter O Reilly Cup and came away with a massive 15-0 win. A great performance from young forward Ronan McGuire who scored 7 goals was the highlight of the match. Jody Mahoney opened the scoring in the 9th minute heading in from a Greg cully free kick. It took Villa until the 38th minute to get their second through Ronan McGuire and he added two more before the break.4-0 at half time. Villa really went for the jugular after half time scoring 11 more times, four more from Ronan McGuire, two from Shane Dempsey and one each from Andrew O Halloran Shane McGuire Damo Walczak David O'Mahoney and Seamie Hannafin. A great team performance from the lads again sees them through to the semi final of the cup.
